Captain Gary Giles' Extra Select Craft Fur Clouser Minnow - 1/30 oz.

For a number of years, Captain Gary Giles has worked on the color combination for this fly and the result is this Clouser on ACID! This fly has out fished a number of other, traditional, Clousers. How do I know? I was the one using the classic chartreuse and white while Gary landed fish after fish - pompano, trout, and even snook!

Besides kicking-ass in the IRL, Gary takes this fly down to South Florida where the Peacock bass hammer it! This is a great fly that should find a place in your fly box today.

Extra Select Craft Fur white, fire orange, and golden yellow, 1/30 oz. (med.) yellow lead eyes, red thread, and fluorescent cerise (pink) pearl Krystal Flash.

Warning: Extra Select Craft Fur has a tendency to bunch up on the hook, less than Polar Fiber however. I tie this somewhat sparse, but you do need to check the fly more often than a traditional bucktail fly!
